Tea Therapy teas and herbs are accurately weighed and sold in quantities of either 50g or 100g. Some of our products, such as Organic English Breakfast, are relatively finely chopped tea leaf, whereas some others, for example, Snooze herbal tea, include large bulky leaves. The bulk, weight and size of the different ingredients will change the size of packets required to accommodate different teas of the same weight.
We will take all reasonable measures to have your order delivered within 5 working days. Exceptions will apply if your order involves an item currently out of stock, in which case we will contact you to notify you of an expected delivery time frame. We charge a flat rate of $10 for delivery.
Different teas are best brewed in different ways. That’s why all Tea Therapy teas have brewing instructions on the packet.
No. There are many styles of tea infusers that offer a quick, no fuss way of getting the most from your loose leaf teas. Just remember that the bigger the tea leaf the more space it may need to expand and infuse.
This is commonly asked by people who are new to green tea. The answer is, it isn’t bitter. The thing to note with green tea, (and many other styles) is that you can not use boiling water as you do for black tea. Boiling water will burn green tea leaves and send it bitter. Water should be approximately 60 degrees to keep green tea tasting its best.
