Cranberry -Green Tea Smoothie
A delicious green tea and berry, smoothie recipie, full of anti oxidants, vitamins and nutrients. Lactose free and perfect for hot days. Just place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. We like using Tea Therapys' Australian Sencha for the best Green Tea flavour for this recipie.
Coco-Pina Colada
Try this lovely iced tea, made with Pina Colada fruit tea, and turned into a fantastic tropical taste and summer quencher! Ingredients 2 Tbsp Pina Colada fruit tea 1 Tbspn sugar 1.5 litres of hot water. 1 tin of coconut milk Method Infuse Pina Colada fruit tea, and sugar into hot water. Refrigerate and allow to steep over night. Freeze coconut milk in an ice cube tray. (Aprox. 1Tbspn per icecube) Serving Strain and pour Pina Colada infusion into tall glasses. Green Tea Matcha Brulee
A delicious, creamy dessert made with Green Matcha tea. Ingredients 250ml Cream 250ml Full cream milk 2 tablespoon Sugar 5 egg yolks 4 teaspoons Green Matcha Tea powder Method Preheat oven to 150 degrees C. Mix the cream and milk in a pan, add the sugar and slowly warm. Slowly add teaspoonfuls of green tea matcha powder until a soft avocado colour is achieved. keep the heat on the milk/cream while you add the powder – but do not boil. Daydream Black Tea Ice cream
No need for an ice-cream maker! This is a great ice-cream that resembles gelato, with turkish delight flavours. Daydream works well in this ice-cream, but other flavoured black tea, such as Earl Grey Romantica, will work too. Ingredients (makes 1 litre) 2 cups milk 4 heaped Tabespoons Daydream Black Tea 1 tablespoon cocoa (optional) 1 cup sugar a pinch of salt 4 egg yolks 2 tsp cornstarch 2 cups cream Method Heat milk in a saucepan on a stove, when the milk is becoming warm, add tea leaves and cocoa.
